World Environment Day

World Environment Day was observed on 5th June. Many students planted variety of saplings and there was notice board preparation and awareness messages to safeguard and nurture the environment.

Parent-Teacher-Students Meetings

We conducted Parent-Teacher-Students meetings for classes VIII to XII on different Saturdays. For every meeting one guest speaker highlighted the importance of parent role in education and the responsibility of the students. The effort was highly appreciated.

International Day

International Day of World's Indigenous People was celebrated on 09th August. We organized special assembly and 55 of our students took part in the event organized by different NGOs and government department.

Independence Day

We hoisted the tricolor in the school and message was given by Mr. Binny an industrialist turned farmer from Kerala. He spoke to the children to be responsible, innovative and to have divergent thinking to progress better in life. Our students took part in the common celebration conducted by TTAADC, Khumulwing. We won first prize in March Past, Patriotic dance and volleyball for boys and second in volleyball for girls. Our students also won prizes in drawing and painting and marathon.

Awareness on Drug Abuse

A workshop was conducted for all the hostellers studying in Montfort school on 24th August. Dr. R. Debbarma highlighted the harmful effects of tobacco, alcohol and drugs. It was really a useful session. Shri. Arajit Debbarma, ASDM also spoke on the occasion.

Students Leadership Training

Bro. P. J. George, Secretary, Montfortian International Education Centre conducted effective and inspiring sessions for our students from class VIII to XII from 28th August to 03rd September. His sessions were interactive, innovative and inspiring. The students benefited immensely from the training.

District Level Kala Utsav 2025

After many years we took part in the district level Kala Utsav 2025 and won a few prizes and won the heart of people for few items. More than 28 schools participated in the event. We won 3rd prize in classical dance, 2nd in musical instruments and first in traditional story telling competitions. The art and craft work by our students were excellent which won the hearts of people.

Teachers Day

Students were enthusiastic to express their love, respect and appreciation for the teachers on 4th September as 5th was a holiday. Various dances, songs and skit were performed in the new auditorium. The teachers sacrificed their gifts and donated the amount for the treatment of one of the former students.

Memorial Tournaments

10th Late Bro. Joy Alex Memorial Volleyball tournament for boys and 4th Late Bro. Joseph John Memorial Football Tournaments for girls was organized on 31st October 2025. Shri. Paul Dangshu, MLA, 48 Karamcherra Constituency, Tripura was the Chief Guest for the inaugural function. He appreciated the school Management for promoting sports and games in the state. Sixteen schools took part vigorously in the competitions. Volleyball team from St. John's Kolasib, Mizoram was a great attraction. Volleyball champion was Calvary School, Tuidu and Runners up was St. Johns. The football champion's trophy was bagged by Kumpui Academy, Khumulwng and Montfort, Champaknagar was Runners up. Rev. Fr. Jinu Avanikunnel, EMHSS school, Iduki was the Chief Guest for the concluding function.

Sports Day

School annual sports day was conducted on 20th and 21st November 2025. Students were enthusiastic and energetic those two days. Various track and field events were conducted and it was a show of strength, grit and resilience.

Montfort Talent Time (MTT)

The annual inter house cultural show was held on 24th and 25th July 2025. Performance of the students were stunning. It appeared that the teachers were more enthusiastic than the students. It was a healthy and spirited talent time. For the opening function Chief Guest was: Shri.Bikash Roy Debbarma, best known artist of Tripura and Guest of Honour was Shri. Dipak Debbarma, SDO, Electricity department, Khumulwng, Tripura.

Children's Day

Children's Day was celebrated on 14th November 2025. Teachers were fantastic on the stage. They performed various items to entertain the students. Children were thrilled and their euphoria was immeasurable.

Parents' Day

Parents' day was conducted after a gap of few years on 17th December 2025. I am glad and grateful that many parents came to witness the performance of your children. It was really a show of support and encouragement. The presence of Bubagra was extremely inspiring. We are grateful to him and MDCs Smti. Dolly Reang, Shri. Sadagar Kalai, Shri. Ganesh Debbarma and all other dignitaries and leaders and elders. Thank you dear parents.

Sports and Cultural Meet

Tripura Catholic Schools Sports and Cultural meet was conducted from 18-20 December 2025 in our school. Sixteen schools participated and glad to share that our school has emerged as the Champions way ahead of other schools.

Farewell

On 31st January 2026 a function was organized to bid farewell to class XII students and 'wish-well' for class X. The students came in school uniform breaking the tradition of attending with civil dress. It was graceful to see them with neat and tidy school uniform. Student performed a few items. Class XII students were given a memento each. They sang a few songs and thanked the school Management and staff.

Republic Day

We celebrated Republic Day in the school as well as took part in the common celebration at Khumulwng. We took part in the inter school March Past competitions and girls contingent won third place. We were runners up in the volleyball for girls and men categories. Received many prizes in the Marathon, drawing and painting and recitation competitions.

Birthday Celebration

Bro. Principal's birthday was celebrated meaningfully. A short programme was organized and many gifts were presented to him. He was delighted with the affection and respect shown by the teachers and students.

Katrina Debbarma and Bironika Jamatia bagged first prize under district level Kalolsav for story telling. They bagged first prize at the state level also. They will be going to Delhi for National level competitions.

Rembo Hwrangkal represented state of Tripura under 15 volleyball tournament. Happy that he is a National Volleyball Player under 15.
